Job Description
Hire Resolve is assisting a reputable construction company based in Rosebank, Johannesburg in their search for a skilled Construction Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from start to finish within the specified budget and time frame.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and organizing construction projects
- Managing and supervising construction teams and subcontractors
- Monitoring project progress and ensuring adherence to timelines
- Controlling project costs and ensuring adherence to budget
- Enforcing compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
- Preparing and presenting internal and external reports to clients and management
- Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licences
- Analyse, manage and mitigate risks
- 5 to 8 years of experience as a Construction Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Would be advantages to be professionally registered
- Experience in managing medium to large-scale construction projects
- Retail petroleum industry experience would be advantages.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office suite
