About the Role
PKF Octogon is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Manager to join our advisory department. As a renowned firm, we provide comprehensive corporate tax consulting and advisory services to medium to large clients across Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality tax solutions, managing client relationships, and contributing to the growth of our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret the full range of relevant local income tax and tax administration laws
- Provide complex recommendations for tax solutions
- Manage projects from start to finish (including risk assessment and billings)
- Supervise a team of junior members and professional staff
- Effectively manage relationships with relevant local authorities
- Prepare clear, accurate reports containing findings, conclusions, and recommendations
Requirements
- CA (SA) or LLB; HDip (Tax); BCom Honours; MCom (Tax)
- At least 7-9 years relevant experience in a corporate tax environment
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Possess technical proficiency in domestic corporate tax, with a working knowledge of other tax types
Qualifications
- CA (SA) or LLB; HDip (Tax); BCom Honours; MCom (Tax)
