About the Role
As a Sales Manager for EMEA and APAC, you will be responsible for managing the entire partner lifecycle, identifying technically competent firms in remote mining hubs, and ensuring they have the necessary inventory and motivation to specify our components into plant maintenance schedules. This role requires a strong understanding of international sales, distribution, and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct audits of the APAC/EMEA partner map and implement “Upgrade” cycles for underperforming partners.
- Manage the “time-to-first-order” to ensure new partners are integrated within 90 days.
- Negotiate agreements to move financial risk of inventory to the partner.
- Implement a monthly “Rolling 12-Month Forecast” to align SA manufacturing with global demand.
- Coach partners on site audits to identify misalignment or wear patterns that lead to sales.
- Ensure partners have a “Capture Plan” for 510 years of spare parts and consumables.
- Manage International Distribution Agreements and Letter of Credit (LC) payment terms.
- Maintain accurate Partner Health Scores, training completion records, and audit frequency.
Requirements
- Matric Technical qualification
- Extensive experience in Fluid Handling, Power Transmission, Bulk Material Handling, or Hydraulics
- Experience with International Distribution Agreements and Incoterms 2020
- Ability to identify and vet technical partners in regions like Kazakhstan or Indonesia
- Sound knowledge of international price lists, discounting, and currency fluctuations
- Understanding of long-tail OEM cycles and “pull-through” revenue models
