The successful candidate will be a seasoned Draughtsman with extensive experience in engineering and manufacturing, responsible for creating accurate technical drawings and designs using CAD software.
Key Responsibilities
- Create precise 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings
- Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts
- Integrate mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, support)
- Maintain solid documentation and version control skills
Requirements
- 58 years of experience in a CAD and technical drawing environment
- Strong proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software
- Experience with electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts
- Understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical system integration
- Exposure to manufacturing or industrial environments
- Knowledge of relevant standards (SABS, ISO, IEC, CE, OHS)
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
