About the Role

As a senior Intacct Consultant, you will play a key role in assisting with various ERP implementation projects, add-ons, and optimization initiatives. Your primary objective is to deliver exceptional consulting services to clients, exceeding their expectations consistently, while contributing to the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance the company’s reputation through delivering high-quality consulting services to clients.
  • Remain up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies, applying them to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Analyse clients’ business requirements and engage with them to define and document their needs.
  • Formulate solutions that meet clients’ business needs and expectations in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Assist in setting up project plans, quotations, and budget management.
  • Customise the solution to suit clients’ requirements and specifications.
  • Provide support to project managers and assist in managing technical aspects of projects.
  • Communicate requirements for customisation to developers to ensure work meets client expectations.
  • Create custom reports that meet clients’ needs.
  • Master data import and data migration.
  • Attend demos with presales teams to make sales to clients.
  • Host user sessions to demonstrate Intacct’s functionality.
  • Configure various accounting modules, including setting up master files and tax mapping.
  • Set up the company module (adding users, roles, dimensions, and entities).
  • Train users on new systems to enable self-sufficiency.
  • Train junior consultants to master Intacct.
  • Lead the Intacct team, sharing best practices, knowledge, resources, and guidance.
  • Work with project managers to ensure smooth, on-time, and successful solutions are delivered.
  • Assist with the integration of business processes after go-live.
  • Identify and implement effective solutions to clients’ problems and maintain healthy client relationships.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Accounting qualification).
  • ERP consulting experience.
  • Sage Intacct implementation certification.
  • Experience supporting end users with general ERP systems.
  • Excel proficiency, including ability to create data transformation workbooks and/or macros.
  • Experience with other ERP packages.
  • Business acumen.
  • Ability to work independently and self-motivated.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise projects.
  • Self-managed and self-motivated.
  • Ability to apply cognitive learning quickly and effectively.
  • Excellent admin skills (required for task list updating, booking of time, and keeping up with Microsoft Teams messages).
  • Ability to take in a lot of information at a rapid rate and converting the learning into long-term knowledge.
  • Ability to work exceptionally fast and effective under high-pressure environments.
  • Adaptability: ability to adapt through different projects, clients, and working environments daily.
