The Front Arena Software Engineer / System Analyst plays a key role in delivering Capital Markets technology solutions. This position combines strong analytical, functional, and technical capabilities to design, develop, and implement effective system solutions using Front Arena or similar Capital Markets platforms.

The role requires a balance of business understanding, system configuration, and development expertise to ensure client requirements are translated into practical, high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and clarify client functional and technical system requirements.

• Design, configure, and/or develop functional or technical system solutions aligned with business needs.

• Ensure that all solutions meet defined requirements, quality standards, and operational expectations.

• Participate in defining project scope and deliverables within the context of client systems.

• Document system requirements, designs, testing processes, and outcomes.

• Develop and execute unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance test plans.

• Verify that implemented solutions meet specifications before production release.

• Deliver user training and provide post-implementation support as needed.

• Engage effectively with key stakeholders including project managers, delivery leads, and clients.

• Manage priorities and timelines to ensure deliverables are completed efficiently.

• Contribute to continuous improvement through learning and knowledge sharing within the team.

Reporting Structure

• Reports To: People Manager

• Secondary Reporting: Front Arena Business Unit Head

• Key Stakeholders: Project Management Office, Delivery Leads, Business Unit Heads, Clients

Work Conditions

• Location: Hybrid / On-site as required

• Domestic Travel: Occasional

• International Travel: Not required

• Extended Work Hours: May be required during project delivery phases

Qualifications and Experience Minimum Qualifications

• B.Sc. (Honors) in Financial Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, or

• B.Eng. in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or an equivalent degree.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years experience working with FIS Front Arena, Murex, or equivalent Capital Markets systems.

• Proven understanding of Capital Markets across asset classes and business areas.

• Strong experience in business analysis, system configuration, and/or software development within financial systems.
