About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT professional to join our team as a GIS Program Solution Architect with a focus on information security. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing secure GIS solutions that integrate with enterprise systems and data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement GIS solutions that adhere to enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF)
- Integrate GIS with enterprise systems and data platforms, ensuring data protection and encryption
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to understand security requirements and provide guidance on information security best practices
- Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to ensure secure APIs and network security measures are in place
- Implement cloud security measures (Azure, AWS, or GCP) to protect GIS solutions
Requirements
- 812 years of experience in IT
- Strong experience in solution architecture
- Proven experience in GIS platforms (e.g., Esri, ArcGIS, or similar)
- Solid understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF)
- Experience integrating GIS with enterprise systems and data platforms
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including:
- Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Data protection and encryption
- Network security and secure APIs
- Cloud security (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- Relevant certifications (advantageous):
- TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification
- CISSP, CISM, or similar security certification
- GIS certifications (e.g., Esri Technical Certification)
