About the Role
Join a forward-thinking financial services organisation renowned for innovation, stability, and strong credit governance frameworks. This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to lead at an executive level, influence enterprise-wide lending and collections strategies, and steer a high-performing Home Loans and Collections team in a highly collaborative environment. You will drive strategy for secured lending portfolios, optimise portfolio performance, and champion data-driven collections and recovery methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the strategic leadership of the home loans and collections function, including portfolio strategy, impairments, and recovery optimisation.
- Lead and develop specialist teams across quantitative analytics, collections, recoveries, and secured lending.
- Oversee legal, compliance, regulatory, and foreclosure processes, ensuring governance excellence across the credit lifecycle.
- Deliver data-driven insights to improve collections efficiency, credit risk performance, and portfolio profitability.
Requirements
- Education: Degree in Business Commerce, Finance & Accounting, Mathematical Sciences, Risk Management, or Quantitative Studies
- Certified Risk Manager (CRM) qualification required
- Strong Retail Banking experience (secured lending preferred/unsecured acceptable)
- Track record designing collections and recovery strategies at scale
- Experienced in quantitative analytics with proven leadership of specialist analytics teams
