About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our IT support team, you will be responsible for providing first and second-line IT support to internal users, managing and supporting various cloud-based systems, and ensuring the overall health and security of our infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-line IT support to internal users (hardware, software, and cloud-based systems)
- Manage and support Azure Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft Intune environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Windows Server and Linux systems
- Support and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services
- Monitor systems, alerts, backups, and overall environment health
- Assist with user access management, permissions, and security controls
- Support email security and endpoint protection platforms (e.g. Mimecast, Defender)
- Assist with SharePoint administration and user access
Requirements
- 0-2 years’ experience in an IT Support / Systems Support role
- IT graduates will be considered
- Hands-on experience with Azure Active Directory (AD)
- Experience supporting Windows Server environments
- Solid troubleshooting and user support skills
- Basic understanding of cloud environments and networking
Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
- CompTIA Network
- CompTIA Security
- Preferred certifications include Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and LAPS, SharePoint, Jira, and KQL
