Job Summary
Minimum requirements for the role: A tertiary qualification in chemistry or biochemistry or related or a COSCHEM diploma is preferred but not essential for this role. The company is keen to employ an Internal Sales Administrator who would like to move into an external sales role. The company is also keen to look at employing a technical person who would like to move into an external sales role dealing with clients at manufacturing companies within the personal care and homecare markets. Previous sales experience working within the personal care and or related raw material manufacturing industry is preferred but not essential. The successful candidate must be a strong team player with the ability to build and foster relationships. Must have a good business acumen with good analytical and synthesis skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills is essential. Computer literacy is essential with good working knowledge of Microsoft packages. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Developing, growing and maintaining new and existing key accounts within the personal care and home care manufacturing industry. Working closely with the laboratory as well as product managers and senior management to grow the speciality business portfolio. Developing relationships with existing and new customers within the personal care and home care manufacturing markets. Managing specialities raw materials into the personal care and home care manufacturing markets Implementing the sales strategy, accomplishing market objectives and meeting targets. Proactively sourcing information from the industry to gain an understanding of the processes and introducing new concepts and ideas to customers in order to grow business with them. Identify new business opportunities by leveraging the full potential of the companys product and services portfolio. Ensuring timeous and correct delivery of goods to customers. Coordinating customer and innovation projects and tracking smart process execution in cooperation with other departments. Co-ordinating and delivering on technical queries with regard to specialised existing and new products. Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
