About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead and manage end-to-end logistics and project logistics operations supporting mining and industrial activities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex, large-scale logistics and project cargo operations, with strong exposure to cross-border logistics, customs compliance, and multi-modal transport.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end logistics and project logistics operations
- Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with business objectives, operational requirements, and project timelines
- Oversee complex logistics activities, including abnormal loads, heavy-lift cargo, breakbulk, and multi-modal transport solutions
- Ensure effective coordination between transporters, freight forwarders, customs agents, ports, warehouses, and project sites
- Project & Mining Logistics Execution Plan and execute logistics solutions for mining operations and large-scale capital projects from initiation through to completion
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years experience in a Logistics Manager role within the mining, project logistics, or heavy industrial sectors
- Proven experience managing complex, large-scale logistics and project cargo operations
- Strong exposure to cross-border logistics, customs compliance, and multi-modal transport
- Demonstrated experience in a senior leadership role managing logistics teams and external service providers
Qualifications
- Professional logistics or supply chain certifications will be advantageous
- Minimum of 10 years experience in a Logistics Manager role within the mining, project logistics, or heavy industrial sectors
- Proven experience managing complex, large-scale logistics and project cargo operations
- Strong exposure to cross-border logistics, customs compliance, and multi-modal transport
