About the Role
We are seeking a Logistics & Systems Support Specialist to join our client’s team, who develops logistics software used by freight forwarders. The ideal candidate will have relevant operational experience in freight forwarding or customs clearing and a strong understanding of shipment workflows and operational documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and resolve inbound customer queries
- Investigate system issues by analysing shipment records, customs data, and transaction history
- Recreate scenarios internally to diagnose root cause of bugs, data discrepancies, or workflow failures
- Escalate complex issues to the Development
- Test new features and fixes prior to production release and provide feedback
- Provide remote guidance or training to customers on system modules and correct workflows
- Identify recurring issues and contribute to improvements in documentation, support processes, and system usage guidance
Requirements
- Grade 12 3 or more years of relevant operational experience in freight forwarding or customs clearing
- Demonstrated ability to analyse operational transactions and identify process or data issues within a software system
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work on-site in Kempton Park
- Own reliable transport
