About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Store Assistant to join our team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our store team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and stores.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick orders in line with customer requirements
- Pack orders efficiently and prepare them for dispatch
- Restock shelves and ensure stock is neatly organised
- Load delivery vehicles safely and in an organised manner
- Assist with loading customer vehicles during collections
- Follow up on outstanding orders to ensure timely fulfilment
- Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels
- Assist with stock counts and inventory control processes
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the store/warehouse
- Adhere to health and safety standards at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment (advantageous)
- Basic understanding of stock control and inventory processes
- Good physical fitness and ability to handle manual tasks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Good communication skills
