About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead our multi-channel marketing initiatives in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and overseeing marketing campaigns that align with our broader organisational objectives, while also driving business growth through effective market insights and campaign performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee multi-channel marketing initiatives
- Craft cohesive communication strategies with a strong emphasis on above-the-line channels (television, radio, outdoor media, and print)
- Manage full campaign lifecycles from planning and budgeting to execution and performance review
- Conduct market insights work, including building targeted customer segments and personas across B2B, B2C, and C2C markets
- Track, measure, and present campaign effectiveness using relevant analytics tools and KPIs
- Work closely with sales, product, and other business units to ensure alignment and optimise campaign impact
- Support, guide, and develop junior team members to encourage growth and high performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing marketing campaigns across varied audiences or sectors
- Proven ability to plan and execute integrated marketing strategies with an ATL component
- Strong analytical mindset and hands-on experience with marketing performance tools
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
- Exposure to CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and segmentation approaches
- Understanding of digital marketing practices, including SEO, paid search, and social media strategy
