ND/BTech/BSc Food Sc/Production Mngt/Ind Eng ;HACCP/FSSC 22 000/BRC; 3-5 yrs MEAT PLANT DEBONING exp. regulat. compliance/supervision in a unionised abattoir/deboning/fresh meat processing plant. Strong leadership skills/attention to detail/understanding of meat processing techniques/food safety standards. Will oversees daily operations in Deboning Hall/ensure production target/quality standards/safety protocols/ regulatory compliance met. Plan/co-ordinate daily/weekly production schedules/assist in all areas of production/meet production targets/monitor line giveaway on weights/packaging waste/report on daily yields/ track line efficiencies. Understand co. Quality Policy statement/implement its requirements/ensure that the highest levels of Service/Quality/Workmanship/all company/customer/legal requirements re.FSMS/QA/HR policies/SOPs/labour legislation are maintained. Ensure that all customer expectations re. quality are met/ exceeded where possible. Drive a culture of adherence to Health & Safety of all employees/maintenance of a safe working environment. Guide production staff/monitor their productivity/counsel them on achievement of optimal workflows/identify training needs/provide appropriate training/coaching on the production floor.
