Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare annual financial statements and management accounts
- Submit tax returns (IT14, VAT, Provisional Tax, Withholding Tax)
- Process monthly journals and consolidation entries
- Review bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage month-end/year-end closures and liaise with auditors
- Authorize payments and ensure compliance with accounting policies
Skills & Requirements:
- BCom Honours or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Articles advantageous
- Minimum 5 years in accounting/reporting
- Staff management experience beneficial
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
- Experience with CaseWare, Draftworx, or Cognos is a plus
