About the Role
Join Network Finance, a stable and performance-driven business, as an Audit Manager in our Johannesburg North office. As a key member of our team, you will have the autonomy to strengthen financial structures, influence strategic decisions, and contribute directly to long-term regional success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage audit planning, fieldwork, completion, and reporting across multiple engagements
- Review full audit files and related reports prior to sign-off
- Ensure audit work papers comply with relevant standards, methodologies, and sound audit principles
- Provide technical guidance and support to audit staff and trainees
- Oversee audit quality, risk management, and quality management processes
- Manage staff resourcing, scheduling, and workload allocation across engagements
- Maintain strong client relationships and present findings to senior stakeholders
- Prepare and review client deliverables including annual financial statements and management letters
- Audit, independent reviews, and compilation of financial statements in line with IFRS and IFRS for SMEs
- Manage timesheets, work-in-progress (WIP), and fee recovery
- Oversee compliance submissions including VAT, PAYE, EMP501, provisional tax, and annual returns
- Supervise, mentor, and develop staff, including performance evaluations
- Contribute to proposals, advisory work, and business development initiatives
- Ensure continuous improvement of audit methodology, policies, and internal processes
Requirements
- Relevant BCom Degree (essential)
- CTA or Honours Degree equivalent (essential)
- CA(SA) qualification (essential)
- Minimum of 7 years audit experience within a public practice environment
- At least 4 years post-articles experience
Qualifications
- Completed relevant Bachelor’s degree
- Certified through the CTA or Honours Degree equivalent
- Qualified as a Chartered Accountant through the CA(SA) qualification
