About the Role

Our passenger dealer client based in Bryanston is seeking a highly experienced Bookkeeper to join their team. The ideal candidate will have minimum years’ experience in the motor industry, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily bank all cash for parts and workshop banked the day after it was received.
  • Daily banking all cash for parts and workshop receipted and allocated to the correct accounts and these accounts allocated daily.
  • Allocate Speed points receipted to the correct accounts and any queries resolved the same day.
  • Process bank statement accurately and correctly before 10:00 and bank recon sent out.
  • Follow up outstanding debtors weekly, with no items older than 1 month.
  • Daily allocation and receipting of all payments received for cash accounts (CASHP and CASHW).
  • Reconciliation of Parts account and bringing any issues to Financial Managers attention immediately.
  • Processing of all sundry invoices and reconciliation of the Brand Debtor Account, following up on any queries with Brand on a weekly basis.
  • Assistance at reception, including greeting clients in a friendly and professional manner and putting through calls correctly.
  • General filing and housekeeping.
  • Allocate all DIC to the correct account and do a monthly recon of the F & I DICs, warranty/maintenance and other products.
  • Investigating small outstanding or over paid amounts on Vehicle Debtors daily and allocating correctly.
