About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Chef to join our team in Johannesburg North. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality food preparation and delivery, while also managing the day-to-day operations of the canteen.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items to high standards
- Manage stock control and menu planning
- Maintain strong knowledge of food hygiene and food costing
- Run a pass and manage kitchen brigade effectively
- Work under pressure to meet deadlines and maintain service standards
Requirements
- 6+ years relevant chef and kitchen management experience
- Experience in al a carte food delivery essential
- Good all round cooking skills
- Ability to run a pass and manage kitchen brigade
- Strong food quality control skills
