Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
– Design, build, and deploy robust statistical and machine learning models for prediction and optimization.
– Analyze large, complex datasets to uncover meaningful trends and patterns.
– Transform analytical insights into compelling stories and visualisations for all stakeholders.
– Own the data lifecycle – from cleaning and pre-processing to production-ready datasets.
– Design and run experiments (A/B testing) to validate hypotheses and measure impact.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions into operational workflows.
– Stay at the forefront of data science, machine learning, and AI innovation.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
– Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
– Strong programming expertise in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn) and/or SAS, plus SQL.
– Deep understanding of statistical concepts, modelling, and experimental design.
– Hands-on experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
– Strong communication skills to present complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
– Proven critical-thinking and problem-solving ability.
Preferred:
– Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SAS Visual Analytics.
– Familiarity with big data frameworks like Apache Spark or Hadoop.
– Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
