Job Description
- Full debtors function, including invoicing, statements, collections, and account reconciliation
- Full creditors function, including capturing invoices, reconciling supplier accounts, and processing payments
- Follow up on outstanding accounts and ensure timely collections
- Resolve account queries and discrepancies with clients and suppliers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Prepare monthly age analysis reports for debtors and creditors
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12) – essential
- Relevant financial qualification (Certificate/Diploma in Accounting or Bookkeeping) – advantageous
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of debtors and creditors processes
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Pastel, Sage, or similar)
- Good understanding of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
