Job Summary
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Building and enhancing predictive models that solve real business problems (not just look good on paper).
- Tweaking algorithms and features until they hum with accuracy and reliability.
- Evaluating model performance and making improvements that actually move the needle.
- Working with stakeholders to turn questions into modelling challenges — and then into clear answers.
- Collaborating with data engineers to get your models into production (and keep them running smoothly).
- Presenting your insights to technical and non-technical folks alike — because great work deserves to be understood.
What You Bring:
- Hands-on experience building and improving predictive models in the wild.
- Strong command of Python, R, SQL, or similar — and you’re not afraid of version control or a good Jupyter notebook.
- Solid foundation in statistical modelling, machine learning techniques, and model validation.
- Experience working with big, messy datasets and turning them into something clean and usable.
- Bonus points if you’ve worked in finance, insurance, telecoms, or another data-heavy industry — but if you’ve got the skills, we’re interested.
