About the Role

Elite Search is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and budget. Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Identify dependencies, risks, assumptions, and critical milestones.
• Obtain required approvals and sign-offs prior to project execution.

• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and budget.
• Coordinate activities across technical, business, and operations teams.
• Track and report on project progress using project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
• Manage project changes through formal change control processes.

• Engage internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports and dashboards.
• Act as a communication bridge between technical teams, business users, and executive sponsors.
• Manage client, partner, or vendor relationships where applicable.

• Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues.
• Ensure adherence to organizational project governance frameworks.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure deliverables meet defined standards.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and audit trails throughout the lifecycle.

• Conduct post-implementation reviews and lessons-learned sessions.
• Ensure deliverables are formally accepted and signed off.
• Transition completed solutions to operations or support teams.
• Close financial accounts and archive project documentation.

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
• Proven experience in managing medium to large-scale projects (IT, operations, or business transformation).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in IT/Project Management is required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience managing medium to large-scale projects (IT, operations, or business transformation) is preferred.
• Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum Master is a plus.
