About the Role
The Property Administrator will be responsible for managing various aspects of student accommodation administration, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and effective communication with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor student applications on the Rise website
- Manage support channels (email/WhatsApp)
- Verify university student lists & manage defunded students
- Leasing Administration: Vet and verify all documentation
- Run credit checks on prospective students
- Capture and update all lease information correctly
- Amend details on Rise & PIMS
- Report on occupancy levels & vacancies
- Billing & Statements: Generate monthly lease billings (from the 13th)
- Produce statements by the 20th each month
- Run & verify interest billing
- Process debit runs
- Post batches into PIMS & Great Plains
- Allocate payments and prepare reconciliations
- Arrears Management: Ensure rental payment compliance
- Manage rental queries
- Issue letters of demand
- Draft AODs and calculate repayment plans
- Manage handâover of defaulting accounts
- General Administration: Compile monthly management reports
- Handle account closures & deposit refunds
- Process entry/exit recoveries
Requirements
- Matric relevant National Diploma
- Minimum 23 years property management experience
- Student accommodation experience advantageous
