This role sits within a dynamic software engineering function focused on building and enhancing customer-facing digital platforms across web, mobile, and backend services. You will take ownership of testing strategy and execution across features and end-to-end journeys, ensuring that every release meets rigorous quality, security, and performance standards.
Working closely with engineering, product, and security teams, you will help shape a quality-first culture while driving automation, improving test coverage, and supporting continuous delivery practices. What Youll Do
- Define and execute test strategies across features, services, and customer journeys
- Develop and maintain test plans, cases, and supporting documentation
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Build and enhance test automation across API, UI, and service layers
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Drive non-functional testing including performance and reliability
- Support security validation aligned to recognised frameworks
- Manage defects through full lifecycle including triage and resolution
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies with a strong quality mindset
What You Bring
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate requirements into test scenarios
- Solid understanding of the full software testing lifecycle
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
- Strong API and data validation skills
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Knowledge of application security testing principles and frameworks
- Clear communication skills with the ability to report on quality and risk
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in software testing or engineering
- 410+ years experience depending on level
