The Company: Our trusted client provides highly reliable industrial welding equipment and essential safety gear locally. They securely supply premium welding consumables to busy engineering and construction companies daily. Their strict focus on fast service and reliable industrial hardware secures absolute market trust. What You’ll Be Doing: Greet all branch visitors warmly and manage the busy main office switchboard daily. Resolve all active customer inquiries via phone and email quickly and effectively. Handle and accurately log any daily customer complaints to ensure fast resolution. Maintain a highly clean and beautifully organized front reception area at all times. Update vital client records accurately using the active internal company database system. Experience & Qualifications: You must clearly show proven daily experience in active front desk administration. You strictly need a deep working understanding of basic welding industry terminology. You must possess a strong ability to resolve complex customer complaints quickly. You need proven daily proficiency using active Microsoft Office suite programs confidently. About the Role

We are seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to join our team in Johannesburg. As the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth day-to-day operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails
  • Manage appointments, bookings, and meeting room schedules
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
  • Maintain a tidy and presentable reception area
  • Assist with general administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Qualification – Grade 12
  • Own transport
  • Professional, friendly, and well-presented
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask in a busy environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Previous reception or customer service experience is an advantage
