About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our furniture and decor retail store in Alberton. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, staff management, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exemplary customer service through product showcasing and overseeing staff operations
- Schedule and delegate tasks to employees, while monitoring their performance
- Ensure efficient store operations
- Maintain accurate bank balances and conduct cash-ups
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports
- Establish strong customer relationships and enforce company policies and procedures
- Address customer concerns both in-store and over the phone
- Foster collaboration with various departments within the group
Requirements
- 5 years of previous retail management experience (advantageous)
- Proficient experience in MS Office (essential)
- Sage Evolution experience (advantageous)
Qualifications
Grade 12/Matric Retail: 5 years (Required)
