This is a client-facing technical sales role for a dynamic engineer with strong commercial acumen and a background in power transmissions or industrial automation. If you’re confident calculating loads for conveyors, hoists, and agitators, and you thrive in a fast-paced, solution-focused environment, this is your next move.

About the Role
Youll work at the intersection of engineering and business development, delivering tailored technical solutions that meet each clients unique requirements. With two positions availableone in Johannesburg and one in Cape Townyoull help expand market share and solidify key customer relationships.

What Youll Do

• Identify and engage new business opportunities

• Perform technical calculations for industrial equipment (e.g., conveyors, hoists)

• Present product solutions and value propositions to clients

• Collaborate with internal engineering and marketing teams

• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to team success

• Monitor market trends and competitor activity

• Maintain accurate records and submit sales forecasts

What You Bring

• Technical sales experience, preferably in industrial motors or gearboxes

• Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills

• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly

• A self-starter mindset with a proven sales track record

• Technical qualification in Engineering (preferred)

• Knowledge of VSDs, electric motors, and gearboxes (advantageous)
