Johannesburg: Senior Airfreight Controller

Responsibilities: Managing end-to-end airfreight import operations. Handling estimates, quotations and shipment documentation. Coordinating with airlines, agents and internal departments. Ensuring compliance with customs and regulatory requirements. Meeting monthly and quarterly KPIs. Managing a high-volume workload (approximately 150 shipments and 300 quotes per month). Requirements: Minimum 5 years experience in airfreight imports (forwarding/consolidation environment). Strong knowledge of import procedures and documentation. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines Afrikaans proficiency advantageous. Strong work ethic with a positive, outgoing personality. ShipShape (beneficial).
