About the Role
Join Network Finance as an Administration Assistant (Junior) and work alongside experienced investment professionals in a client-focused boutique environment. You will gain exposure to private client administration, operational compliance, and portfolio support, developing your expertise in FICA, FSCA regulations, and operational controls. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in line with regulatory and compliance requirements
- Support the account opening process by liaising with service providers and following up on documentation
- Apply FICA knowledge and ensure all new business is correctly and timely recorded
- Manage operational queries from Portfolio Managers and the Operational Head efficiently
- Identify discrepancies, follow up, and escalate exceptions as required
- Provide excellent service to internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with ad hoc departmental administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
- Education: Matric or equivalent qualification
- Experience: 2–3 years in investment administration or a similar financial services administrative role
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of operational controls and compliance
- Advanced Microsoft Excel; proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- High attention to detail and strong numerical ability
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and assume responsibility
