Job Description
A high-impact opportunity is available for a Specialist in POS hardware and software to lead operational excellence within a fast-paced Payments Division Repairs Centre. This role is ideal for someone with deep technical knowledge, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for driving service quality and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full repair process to ensure quality and efficiency

Develop and implement systems and policies to enhance operations
-
Monitor trends and recurring issues to improve turnaround times
-
Maintain strong OEM relationships and support in-house software development
-
Ensure service levels (SLAs) are met and proactively resolve performance gaps
-
Lead continuous improvement initiatives and strategic operational planning
-
Analyse data and generate reports to guide decision-making
-
Drive cost-saving initiatives and process alignment
-
Resolve customer complaints and maintain stakeholder relationships

Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement

In-depth knowledge of POS software and repair centre operations

Skilled in using data to drive operational improvements

Committed to health and safety compliance
Qualifications and Experience:
-
Matric and a relevant bachelor’s degree (Software Development, Operations Management, Engineering)
-
58 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in repairs or warehousing
-
Proven leadership and operational excellence track record
-
Strong understanding of POS repair processes and software
-
Proficiency with ERP/WMS systems and Microsoft Office tools
