About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Storekeeper/Assistant to join our team in Johannesburg on a 6-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods, maintaining accurate stock levels, and assisting with monthly stock takings.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all deliveries/collections from suppliers are done timeously and efficiently.
- Assist the Warehouse Supervisor in maintaining correct stock levels.
- Assist with monthly stock taking to ensure accurate stock and variances are recorded.
- Verify received stock matches up to purchase orders and report discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor promptly.
- Action requisitions from Artisans and Team Leaders on D365.
- Conduct timely monthly stock takings and record variances on D365.
- Accurately issue stock based on internal orders.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management or related qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years experience.
- Microsoft Dynamics GP (added advantage).
