About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Storekeeper/Assistant to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract in Johannesburg. As part of the Procurement department, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient deliveries and collections from suppliers, as well as assisting with maintaining correct stock levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate stock levels are maintained daily.
- Verify received stock matches up to purchase orders and report discrepancies to Warehouse Supervisor timeously.
- Report any discrepancies with reference to stock received and official purchase order to the Warehouse Supervisor timeously.
- Action requisitions from Artisans and Team Leaders on D365.
- Conduct monthly stock takings and record variances accordingly on D365.
- Accurately issue stock based on internal orders.
- Maintain accurate GRV (Goods Received Vouchers) of material.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as necessary.
Requirements
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management or related qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
