About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking an experienced Tax Mobility and Global Tax Compliance Specialist to join our client’s Tax team in Johannesburg. The primary responsibility of this role is managing and implementing international tax compliance processes, providing tax mobility services to employees working across different countries, and ensuring compliance with global tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement international tax compliance processes to ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and payments in multiple jurisdictions
- Provide tax planning and advisory services to employees who are working or relocating to different countries
- Manage tax equalization and protection policies for expatriates and inpatriates
- Coordinate with external tax advisors and authorities to resolve tax issues and inquiries
- Monitor changes in global tax laws and regulations and implement necessary updates to internal policies and processes
- Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on international tax compliance requirements
- Assist in the review and preparation of tax provisions for financial reporting purposes
- Collaborate with other departments, such as HR and Legal, to ensure effective coordination of tax and mobility initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; SAIT or advanced tax certification preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in international tax compliance and mobility services
- Strong understanding of global tax regulations and principles, including transfer pricing and double tax treaties
- Proficiency in tax software and tools, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
