About the Job:

Our Client is looking for a driven and enthusiastic Technical Intern to join our team in the security industry. As a Technical Intern, you will gain practical experience with security technologies, assist in technical projects, and support the maintenance and improvement of security systems. Job Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Assist with the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of security systems, such as video surveillance, access control and alarm systems.
2. Support the testing and validation of security equipment and technologies.
3. Help with the maintenance and optimization of security systems to ensure smooth operation.
4. Assist in preparing technical documentation, including system manuals and user guides.
5. Conduct research on emerging security technologies and industry best practices.
6. Provide on-site technical support, including training clients on system operation and providing troubleshooting assistance.
7. Collaborate with the team to develop and implement technical solutions for security projects.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree: Electronics, Computer Science, Security Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience or internships in the security industry is a plus.
• Strong interest in security technology and a desire to learn about the latest advancements in the field.
• Basic understanding of security systems such as CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
• Knowledge of electronics, networking and basic system integration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Familiarity with security software and hardware setup, configuration, and troubleshooting is an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Python, C++) or networking protocols is an added advantage.
