About the Role

The Maintenance Electrical Engineer is a critical role within our facility, responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all electrical systems and equipment. This position requires strong technical knowledge and extensive experience in refinery, petrochemical, or heavy industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults in motors, control panels, switchgear, and power systems.
  • Ensure reliability and availability of electrical equipment.
  • Support major maintenance events, emergency repairs, and plant shutdowns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 5+ to 7+ years of experience in electrical maintenance within refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas, or heavy industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of LV, MV, and HV electrical systems.
  • Experience with motors, switchgear, transformers, MCCs, VFDs, and power distribution systems.
  • Knowledge of international electrical standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA, ATEX, etc.).
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance best practices.
