Johannesburg: Transport Manager

Responsibilities: Oversee fleet operations, maintenance, and driver performance to ensure efficiency and compliance. Manage third-party transport providers and driver development programs. Ensure accurate route sheets, invoicing, and daily pallet reconciliations. Coordinate timely dispatch of orders and monitor warehouse readiness. Maintain stock integrity and manage customer collections efficiently. Track logistics KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with food safety, fleet, and site procedures. Implement sustainability, real-time tracking, and cost-efficiency measures. Other relevant duties. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 5 years experience in logistics management, including at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity. Background in FMCG, manufacturing, or retail distribution is advantageous. Must hold a valid drivers license.
