Job Description

Leading manufacturer of Baby Products based in Randburg are looking for a young Warehouse Administrator to join their team Provide administrative support to warehouse operations, ensuring accurate documentation, inventory control, and smooth workflow between internal departments, suppliers, and logistics partners. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in supply chain or logistics administration. Key Responsibilities: Assist with daily warehouse administration tasks and maintain accurate records Process and capture inventory movements (receipts, transfers, returns, dispatches) Generate delivery notes, purchase orders, GRVs (Goods Received Vouchers), and invoices Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to track shipments and deliveries Maintain and update warehouse system data (ERP/WMS) Support cycle counts and stock takes by preparing stock sheets and reconciling variances Track inbound and outbound shipments File and archive warehouse documents according to SOPs Monitor stock levels and escalate shortages Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Assist in resolving administrative or stock discrepancies Provide general clerical support to warehouse supervisors and manager Minimum Requirements Matric / Grade 12 (essential) Certificate or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration (advantageous) 1 year experience in a warehouse, logistics, or administrative role (advantageous but not essential for entry-level) Computer literacy: MS Excel, Word, Outlook Experience with ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Syspro, Sage, Oracle, NetSuite or similar) an advantage Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organisational and time management skills Able to work in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Team player with a positive, proactive attitude Problem-solving ability Basic understanding of inventory principle
