About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Website Developer to join our team in Johannesburg, responsible for building, managing, and maintaining our company’s websites to ensure optimal functionality, usability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and maintain the Company’s websites to ensure optimal functionality, usability, and performance.
  • Develop both front-end and back-end development skills.
  • Regularly update website content, images, and structure to ensure accuracy, alignment with brand guidelines, and an exceptional user experience.
  • Optimize websites for search engines by implementing best-practice SEO strategies, including metadata optimization, site speed improvements, mobile responsiveness, and structured data.
  • Monitor websites for performance issues, bugs, or errors and resolve them promptly to ensure uninterrupted operation and a seamless user experience.
  • Collaborate with marketing, creative, and content teams to implement design assets, campaign pages, and digital initiatives that support business goals.
  • Manage website integrations with third-party platforms such as analytics tools, CRM systems, e-commerce functionalities, and plugins.
  • Ensure compatibility, updates, and smooth functionality are maintained.
  • Implement security measures to protect websites from cyber threats and ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations, including POPIA and GDPR.
