About the Role
Wild Dreams Hospitality, home to the Big 5, is seeking a polished and guest-focused Guest Relations Officer to ensure every guest receives a warm, seamless, and memorable experience throughout their stay in our esteemed safari lodge.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with an assistant or Lodge Manager to provide support in the daily operations of a lodge
- Conduct housekeeping checks according to set standards
- Supervise restaurant’s functioning before and during meal times and support the service staff, ensuring company standards are met
- Ensure meal standards are adhered to before meals leave the kitchen
- Check guests in and out, and take care of guest requests during their stay
- Act on guest’s requests for additional services and supplies
- Liaise with senior lodge management to report anomalies, variances, and new ideas for improvements
- Assist with Stock Counts and Weekly and Monthly Reports
Requirements
- Hotel Management Diploma/Certificate or equivalent
- Minimum of 1-2 years working experience in Front of House or similar position at a 5-star lodge establishment
- English – Well Spoken and Presentable
- Customer Focused
- Computer literate on MS office (intermediate level Excel) knowledge of LIGHTSPEED, SAGE EVOLUTION, and PROTEL
- Good guest relations with knowledge of Hosting/Butler skills
- Driver’s Licence preferred
- Contributing to team success
- An eye for detail and good common sense
- Good knowledge of Food & Beverage Service, Housekeeping, and Front Office
