Job Description
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 4 years experience in mechanical design within the beneficiation plant industry/mine
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary project teams
- Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools
- Background in fabrication and manufacturing of Mine beneficiation equipment
- Exposure to local and international design
- Projects across Sub Saharan Africas mining beneficiation sector
Technical skills:
- Autodesk Inventor / design / drafting
- Understanding of bulk materials handling equipment / Plant design principles
- Weldment design / structural analysis / plant layout optimization
- Knowledge of beneficiation process including crushing, screening, conveying and material separation
- On-site troubleshooting and commissioning practices
