About the Role
GAP Consulting is seeking a highly skilled PPE Accountant to join their team in Kimberley. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and experience working with fixed assets and property, plant & equipment (PP&E). As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing large datasets, complex reconciliations, and financial modelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage fixed assets and PPE for GAP Consulting
- Prepare and maintain accurate asset registers and financial statements
- Perform complex reconciliations and financial modelling
- Collaborate with departments to ensure seamless operations
- Provide expert accounting advice and guidance
Requirements
- Minimum of a BCom Degree in Accounting or related field
- Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles is essential
- Proven experience in Fixed Assets / PPE accounting within a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of IFRS, specifically IAS 16 – Property, Plant & Equipment (IAS 36 advantageous)
- Advanced Excel skills including asset registers, reconciliations, and financial modelling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications in Accounting or related field
