About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Nurture iLembe, where you will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, measurable outcomes for patients. As a dedicated leader in physical rehabilitation, you will focus on hands-on clinical care, assessing each patient’s functional needs and designing evidence-based treatment plans to guide them toward greater independence in everyday activities.
Key Responsibilities

- Contribute to an interdisciplinary team committed to person-centred rehabilitation and measurable, high-quality outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy with community-service year completed
- Registered with the HPCSA as an independent practitioner and covered by malpractice insurance
- CPD portfolio up to date in line with HPCSA standards
- Bobath / Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) training an advantage
- Basic or intermediate wheelchair assessment/prescription skills beneficial
- FCE training beneficial
- Driving assessment training beneficial
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications: Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy, Registered with the HPCSA as an independent practitioner
Salary & Benefits
- Minimum salary: R28 569,34
