Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our team in Lephalale, who will be responsible for leading a kitchen team and ensuring high-quality food production. The ideal candidate will have extensive culinary experience in a similar role and demonstrate strong leadership and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage kitchen operations and lead a team of chefs and cooks
- Develop and implement menus that meet customer expectations
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Manage budgets and inventory to ensure efficient use of resources
- Collaborate with the head chef to achieve menu goals and kitchen efficiency
Requirements
- Extensive culinary experience in a similar role
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Budget and inventory management experience
- Food portfolio required with application
