About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Packhouse Manager to join our team at Farm Manager SA in Limpopo. The successful candidate will have a strong background in packhouse operations, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for quality. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with global standards and certifications, and driving efficiency to meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day packhouse operations
- Supervise and motivate a team of production staff
- Ensure compliance with GlobalGAP, FSSC (Food Safety System Certification), and Siza standards
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous packhouse experience essential
- Strong understanding and practical experience with global standards and certifications
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Computer literate
Qualifications
- Agricultural Diploma advantageous
- Previous vegetable farming advantageous (desirable but not essential)
