About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Key Accounts Manager to lead our sales efforts in Midrand, South Africa. As a key point of contact for all customer matters and issues, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with buyers and drive business growth through strategic account management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute customer plans and sales strategies to achieve or exceed annual targets and key performance indicators
- Negotiate trading terms and close agreements to maximize profits and ensure mutual benefit
- Lead as a point of contact for all customer matters/issues, ensuring timely and successful account management
- Collaborate with internal teams (finance, marketing, supply chain & manufacturing) to drive business growth and execution
- Ensure continuous engagement with 3rd party operations (Vector logistics, N1 Meats, Sequence, Pack n Stack) to ensure flawless execution, maximum product distribution and brand growth
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong persuasive and negotiation skills
- Ability to establish rapport and develop trust with technical and commercial stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyse data, understand market trends, and develop solutions-based strategies
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel & PowerPoint) and CRM skills (SAGE)
- Willingness and ability to travel 80% within the assigned territory

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
