About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist in Mobeni to manage and oversee procurement and planning functions within our business. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain principles, with a specific focus on procurement strategy, supplier management, and demand planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers
• Oversee procurement planning to ensure optimal stock levels and availability
• Monitor market trends and pricing to ensure competitive procurement strategies
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
• Identify and mitigate procurement risks, including fraud prevention
• Lead and manage a team, ensuring performance targets and operational goals are met
• Collaborate with internal departments to align procurement with business needs
• Maintain accurate procurement records and reporting

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, or related field
• Experience in implementing procurement controls and risk mitigation processes
• Proven managerial experience leading a team of at least 5 employees
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management, with a focus on procurement and planning
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
• High level of integrity and attention to detail
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
