Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist in Mobeni to manage and oversee procurement and planning functions within our business. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain principles, with a specific focus on procurement strategy, supplier management, and demand planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers
- Oversee procurement planning to ensure optimal stock levels and availability
- Monitor market trends and pricing to ensure competitive procurement strategies
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
- Identify and mitigate procurement risks, including fraud prevention
- Lead and manage a team, ensuring performance targets and operational goals are met
- Collaborate with internal departments to align procurement with business needs
- Maintain accurate procurement records and reporting
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, or related field
- Experience in implementing procurement controls and risk mitigation processes
- Proven managerial experience leading a team of at least 5 employees
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management, with a focus on procurement and planning
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and reporting skills

Salary & Benefits
R32,000 – R35,000 (Negotiable – depending on qualifications and experience)
