About the Role

We are seeking a young professional with a tertiary technical qualification to join our team as a Factory Foreman. The ideal candidate will have technical manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment and be eager to develop expertise in pre-cast concrete production. As a leader, you will be responsible for mentoring and training others, and we encourage you to share your specific contributions and successes in the manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the factory floor team
Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality
Mentor and train new staff members on block making techniques and best practices
Ensure consistent mix quality and adherence to highest standards
Implement and monitor Through Put concepts to optimize production
Administer, measure, and report on production data to identify areas for improvement

Requirements

Tertiary technical qualification (e.g. National Diploma or Higher National Certificate)
Technical manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment
Strong leadership and mentoring skills
Ability to communicate effectively with staff and management
Basic knowledge of block making concepts and processes

Qualifications

Formal education in a relevant field (e.g. Civil Engineering, Construction Management)
