About the Role

Bonafide Human Capital Ltd is seeking an experienced Group Financial Manager to oversee the financial operations of multiple motor vehicle dealerships within our client’s group. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, performance analysis, and strategic financial guidance across the group.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the full financial function across multiple dealerships

• Ensure accurate and timeous preparation of monthly management accounts

• Analyse financial results and provide insights to improve profitability and efficiency

• Monitor and control budgets, forecasts, and cash flow across the group

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls

• Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations

• Manage and support dealership financial teams

• Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies

• Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors

• Drive process improvements and standardisation across dealerships

• Provide strategic financial input to senior management and operational teams

• Travel regularly to dealerships for oversight, support, and audits

Requirements

  • Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) – Non-negotiable
  • Experience:

• Minimum 4–6 years’ post-qualification experience

• Proven experience within the motor industry (essential)

• Experience managing multiple entities or branches will be advantageous

  • Systems Knowledge:

• Experience with Evolve and EasyBI (or similar dealership systems)

  • Other Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
