Role Purpose The Industrial Engineer will be developed into a Business Process Engineer, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, continuous improvement, and innovation across the organisation. The role focuses on four core pillars: Project Management, Kaizen (continuous improvement), Data Analytics, and Innovation. This position provides hands-on exposure to business-critical processes, enabling the development of a strong foundation in operational excellence and process engineering. Key Responsibilities Project Management Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing projects across multiple departments. Track project milestones, risks, and deliverables to ensure successful and timely completion. Support project documentation, reporting, and the capture of lessons learned. Kaizen & Continuous Improvement Participate in Kaizen workshops and continuous improvement initiatives. Map business processes, identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks, and recommend improvements that reduce waste and increase value. Assist with monitoring the impact of improvement initiatives and tracking compliance. Data Analytics Collect, clean, and analyse operational and business data to generate actionable insights. Support the development of dashboards, reports, and performance metrics to inform decision-making. Collaborate with business intelligence and data teams to apply analytics in process optimisation. Innovation & Business Process Engineering Explore and test innovative tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Support pilot projects and proof-of-concept initiatives for new process solutions. Contribute ideas that support automation, digital transformation, and future business growth. Role Requirements Qualifications BSc or BEng in Industrial Engineering or an equivalent qualification. Exposure to or certification in Lean Six Sigma, Project Management, or Data Analytics is advantageous. Experience Recent graduate or up to one year of relevant internship or graduate programme experience. Exposure to data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python, or similar is beneficial. Participation in projects or process improvement initiatives during studies will be advantageous. Technical & Professional Competencies Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-mapping skills. Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement principles. Basic understanding of project management methodologies. Proficiency in MS Office, with exposure to BI tools preferred.
